The next cooking workshop at the Sokołów Flavour Academy was dedicated to the rules for a well-balanced everyday menu. The workshop participants, i.e. journalists and food bloggers, had the opportunity to learn that although the rules for a well-balanced diet seem to be obvious, many and various mistakes tend to be made. The guests also had the chance to find out more about the entire production chain for the Sokołów Naturrino line.
It is the Sokołów Flavour Academy experts' mission to disseminate information about a good-tasting and healthy diet in accordance with the latest culinary trends. Professionals cooperating with the Academy claim that proper nutrition has a positive impact on our health and sense of wellbeing, in this way enhancing the general quality of life.
This message was also at the heart of the Sokołów Flavour Academy workshop. In the first part of the meeting, Antoni Gibowicz, a veterinary physician and representative of the Management Board for the Quality Assurance System at Sokołów S.A., mentioned the unique characteristics of the Sokołów Naturrino line. Inspired by nature, the line includes products which have a delicate meat flavour and are enhanced exclusively with natural seasonings (with no preservatives, monosodium glutamate (MSG) or phosphoranes). Antoni Gibowicz explained the all the elements of the production chain for this line, from buying meat from Polish breeders who cooperate with Sokołów under the programme “Together into the Future” and stringent standards at every production stage to the finished product. Antoni Gibowicz answered several questions about preservatives and debunked the myths about their use. The guests of the Sokołów Flavour Academy also had the opportunity to taste all Sokołów Naturrino products.
Agnieszka Piskała, Sokołów's dietician and nutrition expert, presented the rules for a well-balanced everyday diet. On the basis of the Logbooks completed beforehand by a few food bloggers taking part in the workshop, she pointed to unconscious nutritional mistakes and discussed the key rules for a well-balanced diet. Each workshop participant could have their body composition analysis done, and received a Logbook that can be consulted with the dietician Agnieszka Piskała after completion.
The practical part of the workshop was run by Dominik Moskalenko, Sokołów master chef. The guests found out that a well-balanced diet does not mean sacrifices and limitations alone. Just the opposite, if top quality products are used, such as the Sokołów Naturrino line, it is possible to prepare delicious and at the same time healthy and nutritious meals. Together with Dominik Moskalenko, the workshop participants prepared dishes on the basis of two well-balanced everyday diet plans. The meal provided an opportunity to have a chat with the Sokołów Flavour Academy experts.
