In the workshop at our Flavour Academy the bloggers were able to evaluate the flavours of the products and find out more about how to use them on the everyday menu. At the get-together, we also discussed the changing nutrition trends. Monika Mrozowska, an actress, author of cookbooks and a vegetarian, was a special guest of the workshops. The “Z gruntu dobre” products will be available for sale in September.

The invited bloggers could test all Sokołów vegetable products as well as assess the packaging design and proposed names. ‘The “Z gruntu dobre” products are recommended for people on a plant-based diet and for all those who would like to add plant products to their everyday menu in a simple and convenient manner,’ says Aleksandra Chalimoniuk. ‘Therefore we have invited persons with various dietary needs to take part in the workshop, both those enjoying meat and those who have reduced their meat consumption. Our guests’ opinions have turned out to be invaluable at the final stage of creating the “Z gruntu dobre” Sokołów line.’

The new Sokołów line of meatless products is a response to the changing nutrition trends presented by Agnieszka Piskała, Sokołów's dietician and nutrition expert, who placed a particular focus on flexitarianism.

Monika Mrozowska, the special guest of the workshop, told the participants about the everyday composition of the menu in a family with varying dietary choices. She reminded them of careful selection of the menu items to maintain not only a balanced composition of the meals, but also to discover anew the abundance of flavours and the pleasure derived from eating. Monika also conducted exercises for our guests, the so-called Tibetan Rites, which improve the condition of your body, increase your energy and vital strength.

After the exercises, all the guests began to cook together. Monika Mrozowska and Dominik Moskalenko, our master chef, were both in charge of the culinary part. The new products from the vegetable line were used for the dishes. The workshop ended with a joint meal, which provided an opportunity to have a chat with the Sokołów Flavour Academy experts.
