Oriental roast beef shashlik with cucumber and marinaded white radish salad

 

Ingredients :

Preparation time: 45 minutes

  • 600 g Sokołów roast beef
  • Ingredients for the salad:
  • 250 g green cucumbers
  • 250 g white radish
  • 10 g sesame
  • 250 ml white wine vinegar
  • 250 g sugar
  • Ingredients for the marinade (satay):
  • 25 g green curry paste
  • 150 ml coconut milk
  • 70 g peanut butter
  • 100 ml pale lager beer
  • Optional:
  • fresh coriander to garnish
  • vegetable oil

Preparation

Shashliks:

Cut the meat into strips and put it on skewers. Prepare the marinade in a deep dish. Mix the curry paste, coconut milk, peanut butter and beer. Marinade the meat at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Next, heat vegetable oil on the barbecue or frying pan (alternatively barbecue or oven to 160°C), fry or bake the meat for about 7-10 minutes. Remember not to dry the meat.

Salad:

Prepare the marinade for radish. Combine white wine vinegar and sugar in a deep dish. Next peel and cut the radish and cucumber into strips. Put the radish into the marinade for 15-20 minutes. Take it out, remove the excess water, combine with the cucumber and sprinkle with sesame. Garnish with coriander.
